MPH - Standard Plan 24 Unit

24-unit plan

Students studying the 24 unit Master of Public Health (Standard plan) will complete 12 courses (each course is worth two units). Most students complete these courses over three years part-time though the program can also be studied full-time over 18 months.

Students undertaking this degree complete all of the School of Population Health’s core foundation courses.

Students choose the remainder of their courses from the School of Population Health course list or select up to two courses from electives outside the School (with approval from the Program Co-ordinator).

Once coursework is complete, students may be eligible to complete a practical work-based project (worth four units) or a dissertation (worth eight units). Projects and dissertations are valuable opportunities for students to consolidate, extend and apply the knowledge and skills they have learned.
