Graduate Diploma in Public Health (Indigenous)

You can complete the Graduate Diploma in Public Health (Indigenous) in two semesters (full-time) or four semesters (part-time). It can be studied internally or externally. This is a flexible program so please feel free to contact us for advice on your study options.

Students complete 16 units. All courses listed below are equal to two units each, unless otherwise specified. .

Part A
You will choose at least four of these:

PUBH7600 Introduction to Epidemiology
PUBH7614 Health Systems, Organisation and Management
PUBH7620 Social Perspectives in Population Health
PUBH7630 Introduction to Biostatistics

Part B
You will choose at least two of these:

INDH7001 Substance Use and Misuse among Indigenous People
INDH7002 Issues in Indigenous Health
INDH7003 Indigenous Health Practice
INDH7004 Indigenous Health Policy

Part C
You may choose any of these to complete the total of sixteen units:

HPRM7010 Culture & Health
PUBH7012 Delivering Health Care in Communities
PUBH7100 International Disease Control
PUBH7101 Infectious and Tropical Disease
PUBH7106 Reproductive and Child Health
PUBH7612 Control of Non Communicable Disease
