Master of Public Health - Defence Plan

Plan Description

This plan is designed to equip students with the academic, professional and management attributes that will enable them to approach Defence health issues from a population health perspective. It is designed to provide students with a broad understanding of public health issues and to specifically address health issues relevant to the Australian Defence Forces and Veteran's Affairs. Courses in this field can be completed externally and are designed specifically for personnel from both the Department of Defence and the Department of Veteran's Affairs including those on active service, reservists, those who have completed their service or are involved in the provision of health related services to the Military and Veterans.

All fields of study are a mixture of internal and external delivery. All core courses are offered internally and externally. If a student wishes to complete the program either entirely by internal or external delivery the choice of courses is more limited.

Summer Semester entry not available for international students.
