Master of International Public Health (16)
16-unit plan
Students studying the 16-unit Master of International Public Health will complete eight courses (each course is worth two units). This can be achieved in just one year full-time or over two years for part-time students.
The 16-unit Master of International Public Health is available to students who already hold an appropriate four-year degree. It is a coursework only degree – students who are planning to go onto completing a research higher degree (ie. PhD or MPhil) are advised to complete the 24-unit Master of International Public Health program. For more information on your suitability for the 16-unit plan, please contact us.
Students undertaking this degree will complete all of the School of Population Health’s core foundation courses as well as these courses:
- International Disease Control Priorities PUBH7100
- Health and Development PUBH7113
Students choose their remaining electives (to a total value of four units) from the SPH course list or select up to two courses from electives outside the School (with approval from the Program Co-ordinator).
