The Health Systems and Policy group bring together a diverse group of academics with a common goal – to improve the quality, organisation and effectiveness of health systems and services.

Spanning a range of disciplines – including health policy, sociology, psychology, social epidemiology and economics – we are actively engaged in research designed to inform, influence and improve health policy and practice.

Health Systems and Policy staff are involved in teaching programs at postgraduate and undergraduate levels through the Master of Public Health, Bachelor of Health Sciences, Bachelor of Oral Health and Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) Programs. We also provide Research Higher Degree training in areas that reflect the diversity of research interests and expertise of our group. Our teaching strongly reflects our areas of research strength.
