Biography:

Andrew is Research Coordinator for the Longitudinal Study of Young Amphetamine Users, exploring the natural history of drug use from early adulthood.He has been a public health researcher at Queensland Health for about 7 years, where he has coordinated the evaluation and monitoring of needle and syringe programs across a variety of settings and modalities, health intervention research concerning blood borne and other diseases related to illicit drug injection, and exploratory research into amphetamine use. His first major work in the drug and alcohol field was the development of the National Minimum Data Set for Alcohol and Other Drug Treatment Services at the National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre. He is a doctoral candidate at QADREC.
