Biography:

Michael Coory is Associate Professor in Epidemiology and Health Statistics at The University of Queensland and a medical epidemiologist at Queensland Health. He has extensive experience in the use of research evidence to set agendas and support policy discussions. Associate Professor Coory specialises in evidence-based health care and health services research and is the biostatistician on the Economic Sub-Committee of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Advisory Committee. He also sits on several quality committees in Queensland Health, including those for BreastScreen and Cervical Screening.
