UQ’s School of Population Health is now offering full PhD scholarships starting from 2010. They are available for a short period only, and involve hands-on work in exploring public health policy and research.

 

Topics include:

 

  • Genetic and neuroscience research on addiction to alcohol, tobacco and illicit drugs public policy and ethical implications (Contact: Professor Wayne Hall)
  • Environmental Drivers of Salmonella Infection (Contact: Professor Phil Weinstein)
  • Health Effects of Air Pollution (Contact: Professor Gail Williams)
  • Quality of care for people with chronic disease: the patients’ perspective (Contact: Dr Maria Donald)
