Harvey Whiteford in Australia Day honours list
Tuesday, 27 January 2009Professor Harvey Whiteford, head of the School’s Mental Health Policy and Economics Group, has been made a Member of Australia in the 2009 Australia Day honours list.
Professor Whiteford received his AM (in the General Division) for his service to medicine as a leader in mental health reform, the development of national standards of clinical care, professional competence and economic policy.
Professor Whiteford, who holds a joint position with the School of Medicine, is an adviser to the Federal Government on mental health.
